Dr. FERRUCCIO TORSELLO

Ferruccio Torsello graduated in Dentistry from the Catholic

University of Rome and successfully completed a postgraduate

program in orthodontics and his PhD.

He attended the Department of Orthodontics at the Aarhus

University in Denmark.

Dr. Torsello also completed a master’s program in Periodontics

and Implant dentistry at the Eastman Dental

Hospital in Rome.

He is author/co-author of more than 30 papers published in

International peer-reviewed journals and of a book chapter.

He has received several awards such as the Italian ITI

Speakers Competition and the Goldman Award from Italian

Society of Periodontology.

He was an ITI Scholar and has been an ITI Fellow since 2008.

He served ITI as Italian Communications Officer from 2014

to 2018 and currently coordinates the ITI young task force

of the Italian Section. Dr Torsello also serves on the Junior

Committee of the European Association of Osseointegration.

Dr. Torsello runs a multidisciplinary dental office,

where he practices both orthodontics and implant dentistry

and is also involved in clinical research activities in the

Department of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at the

Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome.
