Clinical evidence of orthodontic treatment with clear aligners
In recent decades, increasing numbers of adult patients have researched orthodontic treatment and expressed a desire for esthetic and comfortable alternatives to conventional fixed appliances. To achieve this goal of esthetic but impactful results, several devices, including clear aligners are getting recognition for success with selective movements & more complex treatment.
Aligners currently have an important place in the therapeutic area of aesthetic dentistry. The customized thermoformed aligner will be able to move teeth in all prescribed directions. This is due to the direct contact between the device and the dentition – which can provide visible desired results while providing comfort and desired esthetics for the patient.
In addition to their aesthetic qualities, aligners have the advantage of use for combined orthodontic treatment, or for complex pre- or post-therapeutic treatment.
